• The English town of Kings Langley will be renamed the King’s Landing at the launch of the show third season on DVD.
• On several maternity wards there are plenty of babies to be baptized with the names Arya, Sansa and Theon.
• U.S. national weather forecast borrowing “Winterfell house ‘motto for notifications by winter storm: “Winter is coming.”
• In Brazil, scientists have discovered a bright white sjøsnegle, and named it “Tritonia khaleesi”. This is a dedication to Daenarys Targaryen’s platinum blonde hair.
