blog post Yesterday, awards were given to Sweden’s most promising game developers, at Swedish Game Awards. These awards have been handed out since 2002, although it was then called KTH game awards. Two of this year’s winners, I had the opportunity to test this on Gotland game conference last week: “Fly or Die” and “Little warlock” scooped varsitt price of categories Gamer’s Choice and Best Execution. Game of the year was awarded to be “Epigenesis”, which seems to be a hybrid of first person shooter and handball. A total of six awards were given, in the other categories won “Dungeon heroes” Best mobile game, “Grief” Best scenario and “King of the thrill” Best innovation. 95 entries were submitted and twelve games were nominated by, the full list is available here.
