"Game of Thrones" star goes to Hollywood - Dagbladet.no

(Dagbladet): The popular TV series “Game of Thrones” has gone from strength to strength over the screens around the world since 2011, with a fourth season scheduled to premiere next year.

In the future we will see, however, several of the lead actor pure elsewhere than on the continent “Westeros”, which hit television series unfolds.

The enormous interest around the series has in fact made the actors also popular in Hollywood.

Upcoming film roles

Kit Harrington, who in the role of Jon Snow plays a starring role in the fantasy series, has been starring in the hit movie “Pompeii,” which will premiere in Norway next year.

Actress Emilia Clarke, known as Daenerys Targaryen in the series, go straight from taming dragons and war to a big Hollywood role. She has been starring in the upcoming film “Rosalie”, which is a modern interpretation of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. Clarke to play Romeo’s cousin, Rosalie, who is in love with Romeo, but faces competition from her best friend Juliet.

Ian Glen, known from the role of Johan Mormont, will play one of the main characters in the upcoming romantic dramafimen “What About Love” which premieres 14 February next year.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark in “Game of Thrones” is in the thriller “Panda Eyes” which is about a young, beautiful girl who is haunted by a secret past. The film will premiere 15 November in England.

Peter Dinklage is Tyrion Lannister role in the hit series. He appears in the films “X-Men: Days of Future Past,” which will premiere next year, and “Rememory” which is released in the autumn.

Will play scam

The character Cersei Lannister played by Lena Headey, who has been one of the lead roles in the upcoming black comedy “The Poison” which started recording this summer.

Alfie Allen plays Theon Greyjoy in ‘Game of Thrones » . Allen is in the comedy “Plastic” in which he plays a con man who ends up in square farms with a sadistic gangster. It is not known when the movie will come out.

Natalie Dormer, who has the role of Margaery Tyrell in the series, is currently out with more movies in the near future. She allegedly a role in the next “Hunger Games” movie, and in September released “Rush” in which she plays against Chris Hemsworth.

Great attention

There has been much focus on the series of late, especially after it became clear that the Norwegian Kristoffer Hivju were playing Tormund Giant Bane of the series. Season premiere of season 3 had very high ratings.
