Following the success of Gravity release Hello There Khaba the Game - an infernal ... - Cision Wire (press release)

You would think that Hello There resting on its laurels after the success of the game Gravity, for superstar Avicii, who quickly shot up to number one among music games across 49 countries. But that is not the case. Instead, they will release their self-produced games Khaba the Game: an extremely difficult and story-based adventure puzzle game set in a 4,000 year old pyramid.

origins of Khaba the Game was a discussion on Hello There concerning puzzle games in general and puzzle games combined with adventure and story in particular.

– Most of us at Hello There like thorny puzzles, and those are the right ample. What we came up with when we talked was that we lacked difficult puzzle that combines thrilling adventure and exciting stories. There was clearly a position to bribe and we took the chance in the Khaba the Game. After a large number of development hours, we finally finished and extremely pleased with the results, says Oskar Eklund, CEO, Hello There.

Khaba the Game set in the 4000 year old and unfinished Khaba pyramid located between Giza and Abusir in Egypt. At the center of the multiple game-story is the ambitious explorers Michael who are in search of a secret treasure. When he suddenly gets trapped in the dark Khaba pyramid becomes a faint ray of sunlight his only hope.

– The burial chambers filled with puzzles have Michael lead the light beam at reflective stones and dusty mirrors to complete each test. When a sunlit stone opens a passage is blocked another, allowing each chamber will be another test of patience, logical thinking and creativity, said Arshak Ardeshir, game designer at Hello There.

As the Michael fall deeper and deeper in the pyramid, so triggering each solved puzzle new parts in the dark story. Almost as if it is the pyramid itself testing Michael. All in all there are 28 levels in Khaba the Game – the last requiring Einstein intelligence to solve and triggers the story’s spectacular finish.

Khaba the Game is available for download on the App Store from 24/10-2013.
