Andy Murray’s first clay tournament of the season was no picnic.
Scot was already falling in the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters. The Swiss Stanislas Wawrinka, who from next week will be coached by Magnus Norman, was completely superior.
Wawrinka won by a clear 6-1, 6-2 and a dismal Murray was booed by the Monte Carlo crowd as he walked off the pitch. Because of the loss, which was his biggest since 2010, he dropped other place in the world ranking to Roger Federer.
