In second place is the last episode of the TV series Breaking Bad, with 3.6 million downloads. Third highest number of downloads had an episode of The Walking Dead.
Game of Thrones was also the most downloaded TV show in 2012.
One of the show’s directors, David Petrarca, has previously said that the illegal downloading, after all, can be positive because it creates a larger cultural hype surrounding the series.
