TV company HBO’s series Game of Thrones has the dubious pleasure of being the most illegally downloaded series this year, writes the site TorrentFreak.
5.9 million persons have downloaded the season finale via bittorrent file-sharing technology in the year, far more than the runner Breaking Bad, with 4.2 million downloads, and zombie series The Walking Dead, with 3.6 million.
