Remedy Entertainment, creators of Max Payne and Alan Wake, today announced Agents of Storm, an all-new iOS game that the studio claims is groundbreaking.
Agents of Storm is “something that hasn’t been done on the platform before,” a Remedy Entertainment representative said tonight during the Spike VGX Awards. Players must create a base, build a fleet of ships, and head to battle in a 3D-rendered world, the company said.
The game, which will launch in early 2014, is described as a “reverse tower defense” game that will be “very, very simple.” A price for Agents of Storm was not specified.
In addition to Ages of Storm, Remedy is working on Xbox One-exclusive Quantum Break. The studio shared a few more details on this project tonight, saying it will feature two playable characters, as well as time travel and cover mechanics. The game will also be accompanied by a TV show.
