Best Cyber Monday 2013 video game deals - GameSpot

by Justin Haywald

Cyber Monday isn’t so much a day of shopping as it is the further continuation of sales that mostly started last week. This time, you get to pretend to work while you tried to find the best price on all the things you didn’t want to wait in line for on Black Friday.

Here’s the best of what we’ve found so far, but check back for more updates!

CONSOLES

Compared to the Black Friday deals, none of the full consoles stand out at the moment as particularly impressive, though you can get a system with a game for a decent price. If you’re looking to get a 360 or PS3, you should avoid the 4GB and 12GB bundles; those hard drives fill up much faster than you’d expect, and any price savings will get eaten up by buying a bigger hard drive.

Nintendo 2DS at Walmart for $ 99 (in case you missed the Black Friday opportunity.

  • Also a 2DS with Paper Mario: Sticker Star and extra accessories for $ 119

Not in the spirit of Cyber Monday, but Walmart will have the silver 3DS XL Mario & Luigi: Dream Team bundle in-store only for $ 180. Best Buy will have the same deal available on Monday only for a currently unspecified discount.

The Amazon upcoming deals calendar, lists unspecified upcoming deals for recent Xbox One releases as well as some evergreen favorites. Expect lightning deals for the following games on Cyber Monday:
